Overview

Factory camera modules require precise power and timing signals not directly available from common development kits. JetsonCamLink solves this by bridging the gap, enabling easy interfacing with MIPI CSI-2 image sensors while supplying clean MCLK and regulated power.

Why JetsonCamLink?

Unlike many consumer-grade boards, JetsonCamLink offers:

  • Stable 24 MHz MCLK from a dedicated crystal oscillator

  • Selectable voltage rails for VDDIO, VCORE, and VDDA

  • Proper signal termination and impedance-matched CSI-2 routing

  • Access to standard control signals like I²C, STROBE, GPIO, PWDN

Platform Compatibility

  • NVIDIA Jetson Nano

  • NVIDIA Jetson TX2 NX

  • Raspberry Pi 4 / 3 / Pi Zero

  • Rockchip-based SBCs (e.g. RK3588, RK3566)

JetsonCamLink supports any platform with 15-pin CSI-2 interface and can be easily adapted with minor electrical changes.

Rockchip Focus

With the growing ecosystem around RK3588/RK3566 chips, our adapter becomes the perfect companion for Radxa Rock 5B, Orange Pi 5, and Firefly boards. Developers can seamlessly integrate native camera sensors for AI vision, robotics, and industrial control applications.

Applications

  • AI-powered camera development

  • Multi-sensor vision systems

  • Prototyping with raw image sensors

  • Robotics and autonomous navigation

  • Smart factories and industrial automation

  • Educational and research projects

Open Source & Documentation

JetsonCamLink is open hardware. Everything from schematics to BOM and layout files is publicly available. This makes it ideal for engineers, students, and hardware startups.
